Has anyone done a juice fast type of thing? I am interested/curious about it. But, I don't want to add fuel to the fire in the ole' bowel either! lol!
If you have done this, or know someone I would like to know about it. Also, what type of juicer etc. is a good buy? I would hate to buy one and find it has been a waste of money.

Well, I think pureeing or juicing your vegetables would be a good way to incorporate more fruits & vegetables into your diet, but you would still have to have a good SF base. As far as juice fasting goes, I don't have personal experience with this, but I definitely think no eating and nothing but juice would be difficult on your bowels. I did a quick search on "fasting" and there have been a few discussions on it.

Can be very hard on your tummy. I have fasted many times...all for faith based reasons and have done well. Coming off the fast must be done with care.

Thanks for the replies I had felt it would be quite hard on the digestive system, especially since it tends to riled easily anyhow. Alot of these fasts also want you to do a bowel cleanse ... hmm, not sure I want to do that! I had to do that for prep for the colonoscopy and I was wishing I was dead! Don't need to add fuel to the fire.
