I was diagnosed with spastic colon about 4 years ago. Intermittently I've had various attacks. In some cases, I would take metamucil which seemed to calm down the pain and other times I would take Librax prescribed to me by my physician. I was wondering if there are any support groups for IBS in New York City. If so would someone plesae let me know. thanks Elen

Thanks for the good words and thoughts. I have been interested in knowing more about Acacia offered at the website store. Is it similar to psyllium found in Metamucil. Or is it more like Benefil? I would like to know more. thanks

Total SF here - only thing remotely similar in the stores is Benefiber to the best of my knowledge. It has helped me more than any single thing. I hope this helps.
