I finally gave in and called my new GI doc and told him to call in the prescription for the Welchol. It is similar to the questran I took just after my gallbladder surgery last spring, only it is a pill instead of powder. (yea!) I'm supposed to take 2 pills with each meal, but given the C that the questran put me through, I am just taking one tablet to see what happens in the beginning. Well...I haven't "gone" since Thursday (but then again, Thursday's attack pretty much emptied me out! lol) so I am wondering if there is going to be an explosion soon. The good thing is that I have eaten some things I normally would NEVER eat! (I've been testing the waters...hehe) So....we'll see. If you hear this huge explosion from the direction of Texas, don't worry....it's just me!
