It's the "Corner Bakery" at Erie & St. Clair (http://www.cornerbakery.com/menu/default.asp?Unit_ID=001.023.0062&state=IL) that I'm thinking about. We could buy a loaf of bread and and eat it plain amongst all of us! That and some herbal tea would make a great afternoon snack.....

It looks like they're open until 8 pm according to metromix.com, so I think it'll work.

AC, Ah Great! I emailed Ashley about two hours ago and told
her to either call or email you or me. Say, do you know
EPA Ginger's email address, do you think she might want to
come too? Things are looking up! -Bob

Sorry, I don't know anyone's e-mail address. I suppose that once we have a date for this get-together, we could make a separate post announcing this....

I saw that fiber in the store and when I saw it was 75% IF, I took a pass.

I'm not sure where that yoga place is...I live in the south suburbs. Probaby not close at all. Too bad....it sounds wonderful, especially since she is willing to do digestive poses. What city is this in? Are you up north or in Chicago?

I'm afraid to do the BTC diet because I think I need the IF. I don't know. What do you do when you get like this? I stopped taking my Librax in hopes that the anitspasmodic was the cause. I just started it and that's right around when the C got real bad, I think. But it's suppose to help with the pain...so I can't win.

I'm finally resorting to Miralax, but that stuff isn't so great either. Have you tried it? What are you doing to keep from being totally blocked up? It hurts so bad, doesn't it?

You should post more....I miss seeing you on the board!

Sweet potatoes have lots of fibre in them, if you eat one or two, it should help you "go"

I am so sorry about your cat. He looks almost like mine -- except she has a black chin. She is 3 months shy of a year old now. I actually have 3 cats. lol

Thanks both of you for the good wishes! The goofball is not in any pain, but he is giving us dirty looks for feeding him antihistamines. You'd think a cat wouldn't mind sleeping a few extra hours each day... I'm also giving him some of my fish oil since apparently the dry skin comes from his not getting enough Omega 3s.

Hi AC, I'm at the library branch you used to go to,my sister
had to take her laptop to work. I checked my med appt.'s
this morning and thursday is a go! I should be done with the
anorectal manometry test by 1:30. There are some Army sur-
plus stores in the loop that I'll check out between then and
4:30. So I'll be at the Corner Bakery at 4:30. I haven't
been able to check my email yet because there seems to be
something wrong with the server, so I don't know if Ashley
emailed me back yet. She hasn't called. Have you heard from
her? Could you make the post on the get-together board?
There's been problems with this PC and I'm down to 15 min-
utes. I won't have access to my sister's laptop till later
this evening. I hope we can get some people! Looking foward
to meeting you. I should be easily recognizable. I'll be
wearing my Scottish Glengarry hat along with my red British
Army vest. See you on thursday! -Bob
