LOL!!! That's funny......I picked that up from my dad. He always drank Jack and Coke. Well, the sugar made me sick. So, I always drank Jack and Diet Coke!!
Well, when I can drink it again I will just try it over shaved ice. You're right, the water would help take away some of the heat. I can't ever have Diet Coke again, anyway because of the sugar alcohol.
I'm with you girl. Jack used to be my best friend but I had to give him up!! Liked to killed me! I was drinking Jack the night I got sick with IBS and it hasn't went away, ever since!!! I woke up with a hangover and have had a permanent hangover for over 2 years, now!!! GEEEEZ!!!!!

When D is really bad, NIGHTMARES terrorize me. I suspect that this is kind of a neurochemical effect. I literally dream of dying, of not being able to make it to get some water. I dream of nobody finding me.
When I have pain related attacks/cramps, I relive past physical traumas in my sleep. There are alot of "battle" motifs. Weapons surface as images, too. I'm usually stabbed repetitively in some sort of way.
Also, and this is rather intimate but I don't mind sharing. When I have swimming in Sh*t nightmares, I have nightmares/flashbacks of a former violent anal violation.
Sometimes, I have had dreams of being forced to eat fecal matter, or of myself saving the D and making a big stew for dinner or someone I dislike to consume.
Lately, though, the nightmares involve violent pain sequences. I often have the "not being able to make it in time" nightmares.

OMG no! NO NO NO! Yikes!
I have only ONE Jack. ONE, no more! And I have it with a dinner roll or crackers, followed by my meal. No, no, no. One Jack calms down my tummy; two maybe my tummy can tolerate, but three blows it up!

I was looking forward to New Years Eve with the possiblity of becoming so completely wasted that it would be practically impossible to walk, talk, or think basic thoughts. I was wondering though, even if I was to ...water down this particular substance or vodka, and mix a SFS into it. I wonder if it would be possible to become even mildly intoxicated.

Alli, trust me. It ain't worth it.
My suggestion is to have one drink -- ONE DRINK ONLY -- preceded by a SF of some kind (crackers or a roll), followed by more SF. That one drink can sustain you for a long time if you just SIP IT. Don't mix it with anything, because it'll just make you sick. Drink it straight, but SIP IT. Ask for a glass of ice water so you can drink a little water in between sips. It'll make the drink last longer.
Trust me, you really don't wanna get "completely wasted." You're kidding me here, aren'tcha? You're pulling my chain. That's it. This is a big joke. Right?
Really, if you haven't been drinking in awhile, then one drink will relax your colon and make you feel happy. What more could you want? Believe me, you don't want to be sick all the next day, regretting the night before. It'll just ruin it for you, and you'll up with rotten memories.
One Jack, straight up, with a glass of ice water on the side. Ooooooh, BABY!
ENJOY!
