I've been eating them almost every day, right after my sandwich at lunchtime. No problems to report.

Grapes are the absolutely worst fruit for me. I can safely eat five after a meal once in a while and no more.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Hey Wind, I'm the same way. I call them "Evil acid fiber bombs from hell." They were one of the first foods I figured out I couldn't eat--

Age 6-- apples, asperagus and artichokes (the three A's!)
Age 7-- grapes, pears, avacados

I can handle asparagus, but grapes--no way! Avocado? Never! Aie, I have to run for cover.

MELONS, though, are the positive worst. I can't believe I lived through cantelope.

Have you ever had Kohlorabi? Now that's an evil acid fiber bomb.

Sauerkraut--let's not go there. And oranges! Pineapple. Olives, no way!

I love the term, though--"acid fiber bombs."

Kate.

Hello, everyone! Grapes have never disagreed with me. Steph, you mention problems with fruits and veggies? It sounds like a lot of you guys have had that kind of trouble. I never have. Why do fruits and veggies cause IBS attacks? I'm grateful they don't for me, because I'm trying to eat more of them lately. Good luck with the grapes, Steph!

I can eat grapes, no problem, but grape juice? Forget it. It kills me, even the "natural, no sugar added" kind.
