OK, I need some clarification. Whole wheat a no no. But what if the ingred. just says wheat? Is that whole wheat? I ask because wheat flour is OK, right?

Actually just b.c it says WHOLEwheat doesn't mean it's a total no-no...just a hint that it's probably high in IF so not as safe on it's own. We all need to get IF into our diets for our health!

If you're gluten-sensitive, then you should avoid wheat altogether. A way to test this is to eliminate it from your diet for a period of time, then reintroduce it and see if it triggers an attack. There are gluten-free pastas and breads on the market (made from rice for instance).
