Need help! Constipation...

Wondering if anyone has any tricks to relieve constipation fast. I took 3 metamucil capsules which usually work for me but it hasn't worked. It's soooo bad and I know I won't be able to go to sleep tonight unless I do something about it. Any ideas?

Probably too late, hope you got relief. When I was in the hospital with a blockage, everyone told me to take magnesium citrate, comes in bottle & you drink the whole thing. Do you have a Fleet's enema? I keep that on hand, too. How about Milk of Magnesia?  Bette

Hi,last week i had a really bad episode of constipation,six days.I tried some milk of magnesuem in the end and it worked thank the lord.I took the full dose before bed,had no adverse affects the next day and a bowel motion.I then reduced the dose to half the next night.Its the first time i have used this.hope this helps.hanaxx
