For IBS-C. Has anyone ever tried this? It's supposed to be for constipation.

It looks like the active ingredient is "lactulose", which is an osmotic laxative. Here are some references:

Duphalac Home Page - I didn't see anything really explanatory here.

Hmmm, maybe the fact that it's lactose based would mean Mirarlax is a safer osmotic laxative for IBSers?

Well, do you guys think it's any good? I don't actually have it here with me. I read it in a pamphlet regarding constipation. It says that it is one of the newest laxatives out, and it comes in packets. I think it's powdered or something. It says that it's gentle enough to use everyday and so forth..
I am clueless about the ingredients. Just wondering if it would do more harm then help.
