Casein is a dairy product. Not sure about carageenan.
Have you tried a search?

Yes, try a search of all posts on the IBS Diet board under carrageenan and carageenan (both spellings). Carrageenan is basically a food additive that comes from a type of seaweed that's used as a thickener in dairy and dairy-substitutes. There's conflicting evidence as to whether it's safe for your health (some studies show it can increase your risk of GI cancers, but others show it's safe for humans), but it can be a trigger for IBSers.
Casein is a milk protein that's difficult for IBSers to digest and can irritate the digestive system.
