I'm elated! I found a carregeenan-free soy milk--carregeenan really triggers me! It's Natura-Light soy milk. So far, so good! Just wanted to share. I'm drinking the unsweetened--only 1g of sugars. Holy don't have a cow! It tastes like milk! Now, I wonder how it would taste as soy yogurt. (Easy enough to make and find out!)

Hi Wind Thanks for the tip! I'm canadian too and I'm having a tough time too finding many of the soy product our american friends talk about. Do you know any eatable canadian soy cheese without casein? I'm still searching for a soy pudding without that damn carregeenan, I will tell you when I find one!

Yes, please do advise--I'll keep my eyes open too. The Natura comes in unsweetened, vanilla, plain. I'm not sure about chocolate (I wasn't looking as I'm a diehard vanilla lover--but I bet that it does!) No gas/bloating...D! It comes in tetras & in some stores it's in the dairy section. Also, NO CORN SYRUP SOLIDS which also affects me rather badly.
I like it! (Even better yet, it likes me!)

Here's the website for the carageenan-free soy milk brand with which I've had success, so far: natura-a.

Ooh, that looks good! I haven't seen it where I live, although it appears they also sell their product in the US. Right now I drink Rice or Soy Dream, which doesn't contain carrageenan, but neither one has added calcium carbonate like the Nutrisoy products.

Well, I'm elated to report that I've experienced no adverse effects from the Naturisoy beverage. It's good stuff. Also, it doesn't have that funny carrageenan aftertaste and nasty backlash I experience. No spasms and no vomitting (carrageenan does that too me!)--no gas/D/bloating attacks and breathing constrictions.
Happy bones!
