I just came home from my classes and took my usual after school 1,5 g of psyllium. Usually I will drink maybe 1 l of water before taking it, this time maybe it was more like 0,5 l, but that should be enough. Right after taking it I started feeling pain in my stomach. I tried drinking a whole lot more water, but didn't really help. The pain felt a bit crampy for a short while and maybe also hurt further down and closer to the rectum. I tried eating a bit, and then drank some peppermint tea, which helped a bit. Then I ate some cooked oatmeal. I felt better but had a bowel mowement that was a bit too much on the d side(this was maybe 10 mins after taking the psyllium). I am usually c, but have had very few bms like this before.
Now I feel a lot better, no pain, but maybe that feeling that I am going to have d.
Any ideas why this happened? I have not done or eaten anything unusual today. I took the psyllium on a pretty much empty stomach, but not any more than in the morning.

Maybe try eating a little something with the psyllium.
Are you drinking any caffiene, or soda?? This will cause problems for me --
Good Luck!!
