Hi,
If you would please look on these two probiotics and tell me which one you think "looks best", or if you have any other comments, of course I won't hold anyone(other than myself) responsible if I buy either one of them and they don't work. The homepage is danish but if you scroll down a bit you can see a detailed table of what bacteria are in it and in what amount.

Thank you,

If I'm reading this right, the first one you list is called Multi-Probiotic 400 and it contains:
B. Bifidum 275 Million CFU
Bifidobacterium longum 275 Million CFU
L. Acidophilus 1.150 Billion CFU
L. Rhamnosus 1.150 Billion CFU
L. Rhamnosus (Type B, Bifidus) 775 Million CFU
Proprietary Blend 215 mg.: FOS (fruitooligosaccharides), and Ulmus fulva (inner bark)
S Thermophilus 150 Million CFU
S. Lactis 275 Million CFU

The second one you list is called Mælkesyrebakterier "Probiotic Blend" and it contains:
Bifidobacterium Longum 250 Million CFU
BioMos (Mannan oligosaccharide complex) 50 mg
Dahulin PB (Dahlia inulin Juice complex) 150mg
Lactobacillus Acidophilus 250 Million CFU
Lactobacillus Casei 124 Million CFU
Lactobacillus Salivarius 120 Million CFU

It's my understanding the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus Acidophilus are particularly important, so I'd go with the first one since it has more of both. The first also contains 7 different strains, while the second one contains 4. (It also looks like the first one is more than twice as expensive as the second one. )

HTH.

Thank you for your input. It is twice as expensive But it was the one my own "research" said I should order. I ordered it with some digestive enzymes from the same shop. I look forward to seeing how it works!

My gastroenterologist told me this is the absolute best probiotic available. Most out there only contain a few million active bacteria but this has 450 billion (yes with a B) So it is very potent and actually works.

I've been on it for two years now. I take 1/2 of a packet a day which helps with the cost a bit.

Here is their website if you'd like to read up on it or order it. VSL3.com It comes in a refrigerated package overnight.

Take care,
Leigh

Is this probiotic intended more for those who are D prominent? It states that it is for specific illnesses, so I'm just wondering. I'm an A, but more D than C. I'm also in the middle of being big-time unstable right now. I just switched probiotics and I don't think I like my new one, so I'm looking around for something different.

I am definitely a "D" person. But I think any probiotics are supposed to be helpful whether you're C, D, or A.
