Rice Krispies may have HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) in them, and if you're sensitive to HFCS, it may cause an attack. Sometimes the generic brands don't have HFCS in them.

so I'm not much help. Just make sure you read the ingredients carefully of what you buy/eat. If it's stuff from the dining hall, ask the servers if they have it onhand for you to read, or look online to see if you can find the ingredients. Hopefully someone else who eats cereal can help.

It's all posted at the front page of the boards by Heather under 'Brand Name Recommendations for IBS-Safe Foods.' She says that Honeycombs cereal is safe, Corn pops, Alphabits. Although under the 'UK' section, she does state that Rice Krispies are safe. I don't know if they are the same kind or not. Hopefully not.

Corn pops Honeycomb Rice chex Crispix Puffed rice - not the same as rice krispies
For all of them, be sure to check the ingredients just in case... and if you can find store-brand rice krispies, read the ingredients there too. Sometimes the store-brand equivalents don't have HFCS in them.
