...isn't that safe? What do you mean unsafe IF? I'm confused. I didn't think there was an unsafe IF. Are you saying berries are not safe? I've seen them listed in Heather's diet plan. I usually have mine with my morning cereal of cooked brown rice cereal.

Sidewalker isn't following Heather's diet, so s/he may be eating berries without eating SF first. Insoluble Fiber without Soluble Fiber first can trigger spasms, thereby making C worse.

See cooked makes them safer. As does eating them after SF or pureeing/mashing them. It's down to personal tolerances how safe you need to make IF to eat it w/out it being a trigger.

...thanks for the explanation. I thought I had the basics down, but I keep forgetting that spasms can cause C and not just pain. Thanks for the reminder.
