Spicey - have you tried anti-depressants? I've had great success with them - only to find failure after I went off them so I know they were helpful..... I know you're doing your master's so you're under a lot of pressure school wise.... just something to think about.
Hugs, Alicia.

Soz if this has been said, but there are too many replies to get through!

Have you been taking Immodium everyday at the same time? That's what you need to do to get the best preventative effect.

Thank God for Lomotil...does it work?...for me for many years, it has been my saving grace...lately the Hypnotherapy tapes have calmed me down from a bad series of bouts along w/ the Lomotil or generic when needed both as preventative and stopping an attack...takes longer after the intestines have been agitated...
Good luck w/ the colonoscopy...be patient w/ yourself..
Energy work (Healing Touch and Reiki) help relax the body's systems as well.
Blessings,
Elaine

i feel like once you're at the point of needing multiple immodiums, unless it's a problem of health insurance/pharmacy costs, you should talk to your dr about prescriptions.

i've actually tried equalaction, probiotics, digestive enzymes, fiber, peppermint caps and calcium awhile ago.. but I think I might go back and give them all another shot considering I have leftovers from the other attempts.

as for equalactin though.. the new boxes now state that they relieve bloating and constipation and no longer claim to help diarrhea.

I'm an A. I tried Equalactin. It seemed to work the same as FiberCon caps for me. I just stuck with FiberCon because it is less expensive.
