I went back to my holisitc doctor again on Monday. She's great, BTW. My stomach has been more upset than ususal lately, and I just got off a horrible, heavy, crampy period. She suspects that my reproductive hormones are screwy, and that they are a trigger for the IBS. She is having me do saliva hormone testing to get a baseline so she will know what treatment approach to take. Thankfully, she only uses natural products, not synthetics. Anyway, I have to wait until a certain day of my cycle to do the tests. Is there a connection between hormones and IBS? I know that the IBS and the Hashimoto's both showed up post-baby.

This has been discussed here a lot on this board and the Living Room board. Do a search with no time limits and you'll find a treasure trove of information!

I got IBS right after I had my baby as well. Never had any tummy problems until then.
