Honestly, I've never even heard of the stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised if the search turns up nothing, but you never know!

Hi, Judith.
I keep hearing people bring this up, but I've been unable to find any studies or clinical trials about this product or fruit being used as a treatment for IBS. I have read "personal testimonies" on other sites and I have also learned that other cultures use the fruit to treat dysentary; however, that's not enough to convince me to try it. I would want to know how and why does it help IBS? What types of controlled/blind studies have been done so we know that it's really having an effect that can't be contributed to some other factor? What kind of scientific information is available?
Also, I don't trust anyone, any seller, who claims to have found a "cure" for IBS and other ailments without providing any scientific evidence to back up such a claim.

I hope this helps.  I haven't heard of anyone here trying it.
