I took peppermint caps last night for the first time. I took one at bed and one in the morning before breakfast. I just had an AWFUL attack and the only thing I think that could've caused it is the peppermint pills. It was just an AWFUL attack.. Please tell me I am not a freak. I didn't think these pills could affect me this way.

I am so sorry for your attack HUGS. I think we are all individuals and ANYTHING can cause an attacks for someone. I had a hideous attack after 1/8th tsp of acacia!!! It may be rare but certainly possible! if you are feeling brave you can try them again in a few weeks just to make sure..but to be honest..its not like peppermint caps have the potential to cure your ibs...so I would personally stay away (I am a scaredy cat of attacks anyway!!!)

I could use a little help going!
It seems to me that since they are suppose to soothe the spasms, they would tend to be more helpful for D and less helpful for C. But does anything about this IBS make sense?
Let us know if you decide to give them another try and how it goes for you.
