I thought you might be able to answer my question re: where to buy or look for "kosher salt." Where would one find it? How might the package be labelled? Is this the salt that they put on pretzels? I hate pretzels; I just lick the salt off of them and toss the pretzel in the trash.

Yes, I know I'm bizarre. I'm on a mission to be a saline person. (I'm not going to think about that statement too deeply because I'd probably gross myself out...)

I'm already having a laughing spazz due to the meaning/origin of the word salt--"salary." I'm spoiled rotten and haven't had the need or desire to earn a salary, yet! Maybe that's why i'm not worth my salt! (My dad still gives me my salt and I'm 31 years old).

I'll shut up. Sorry.

It is in the baking aisle by the other salt and comes in a big navy box.
(My husband read the book "Salt" which he loved and had tons of info on the origin and use in history. I guess it is a great book.)
