All dairy products are to be avoided. Even yogurt, and also the lactose-free milk. They are all a trigger food and for more reasons than just the lactose, which means they will make your symptoms worse... and if you're a C, then yes, it means it will all make your C worse. Stop with the milk asap!

Please familiarize yourself with the trigger foods!

If you want probiotics, take one in capsule or pill form. The best ones are available from your local health food store, in the refrigerated section.

Milk is a major trigger for many IBS people. Are you sure you can tolerate milk and milk products (such as yoghurt)? Lactose-free milk doesn't solve the problem for IBS people because they can also be milk protein intolerant and have problems with the fat content in milk.

Just an FYI... I recently learned, quite by accident(because I had cut out dairy for the "diet"), that dairy was causing the migraines I have suffered from for years. Haven't had one since. It wasn't until my mom mentioned that my sister had discovered the same thing( we both cut out dairy at the same time) that I realized I hadn't had one either. A very nice benefit of Heather's diet.
