I haven't been keeping close tabs, but I know I fill up my 20 oz bottle several times at work, and then drink lots more at home, too.

Thank goodness I work inside! And I don't do ANYTHING outside before 7pm. Sure glad it's staying light so late.

I'm sure you've heard that one before, but I couldn't help myself.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I think ALOT of us wished we lived in houses like that...with the money for upkeep of course!

You would not believe how many people complain about this heat. I love it! Okay I might go "phew I'm sweaty" or something, but that's not complaining, is it?

I am still in really bad shape! I had to work between 4 1/2- 5 1/2 hours this week Mon, Tues, Thru, Fri and can hardly handle that! My head and neck ache so bad and my upper tummy is sick and pukey. I am super dizzy and crabby. Yet I wanted to say that I still have not had any tummy cramps or D. I have a pretty long no D streak now. Wed. was slightly loose but not D. So I think that is great. However I am so miserable otherwise. I am living on sorbet.

I forget about people like you who must work in this heat, while the rest of us sit in air conditioned offices!

Just don't forget your water!

I always thought an active outdoor job would be great for my IBS-C...but I don't handle heat or cold well.

I'm glad your tummy is behaving! That's great Tamara! On with the good tummy streak! You rock!

Hey, did you try that Rudi's bread yet? Just wondering if it tasted good and was worth getting!

Thanks for your kind words. I need a lot of pity right now with heat sickness and a cold! I will buy the bread the second week of August when I go to the HFS. I don't get down there very often. My MIL goes but then it is hard to get the stuff from her. One time she bought soy ice cream for me and it all melted since she had to go to Target on her way home! I was pretty sad about the ice cream.

Having a physical (and solitary) job is good for IBS, but not when it is so hot. I just have to get through a few days like this a year. (I would quit but the pay is SO good.)
