Hi All There is a possiblity I might be going camping at the last minute. What foods could I take, if I go it'll likely be for 1 1/2 weeks so I need things for meals suitable to cook on a camp stove.
Thanks Niki xxx

First, I want to say it seems like you have an awesome job! I just checked out cinnamon creations...VERY cool!
To take camping:
I would bring rice, if you have a way to boil water--rice pasta, canned beans (if you can tolerate em'), bananas, applesauce, crackers, canned fish (if you eat fish), apples, pretzels, rice cakes, canned tomato sauce, canned fruits/veggies, teas, oatmeal for breakfasts...
if I think of anything else I'll post it for ya!
Have FUN on your trip!

I knew there was a thread on this so I searched on "hot dog camping" (didn't use the quotes, Diet Board only, no time limit) and actually found a few:
Thread 1 Thread 2 Thread 3 Thread 4 Thread 5
You might be able to find even more if you search on just "camping", don't use the quotes, Diet Board only, no time limit.
HTH. Enjoy your trip!

I do, and it aggravates my D. What to do???
For camping foods, I'd stick to boil-in-a-bag rice, canned (or homemade) soups, individual sizes of applesauce, make-your-own trail mix, turkey or peanut butter sandwiches, Clif bars for energy (non-dairy), instant oatmeal, banannas, dry cereal, and rice or soy milk. You could also make a pasta salad ahead of time and bring it. Don't forget to bring your fiber supplement and some Immodium just in case.
Have a great time!

Thanks everyone and Thanks to Ruchie for compliments on my job and web site
Starting to feel anxious now about the whole thing. Been suffering from that for a while now. Have told hubby I would prefer to go in a caravan so I have what I need. We are going to discuss it this afternoon.
Thanks again Niki xxx
