I know in the IBS guidlines, it says to limit your fat intake to 25%. 25% of what? Is there a way to transfer that into grams?

Each meal should not be more than 20-25% fat content.
To figure out your percentage, divide the total calories into the calories from fat.
If you don't know the calories from fat and only the grams of fat, multiply the number of fat grams by 9. This will give you the total number of calories from fat (fat has nine calories per gram).

Thanks so much. I feel so dumb. I thought I could only have like 20 some grams per day. Now wonder I was having so much trouble!

Don't feel dumb! Do you know how many times I read The First Year and through these boards and learned new things each time? I still learn new stuff from the boards...that's what they're all about!
