Dear Fans of Ginger Tea,
I'd like to highly recommend YOGI TEA's Ginger Tea. This is the best ginger tea I've ever experienced. It's got the healing bite without the sting. I might have to use this as a simmering base for something or marinade or smoothie enhancer. Wow.

Thanks Wind! I've been looking for a good ginger tea. I'll have to get this the next time I go grocery shopping.

Yogi Tea is an organic tea. The ingredients are: ginger root, lemon grass, licorice root, peppermint leaf and black pepper. It's really nicely spiced without being spicy and sure gets your blood circulating. I just brewed a huge pot and wow, is my body ever humming! Yogi Tea has other ginger based blends, too.

yes, and I will second that nomination! I have also tried Yogi Tea's Lemon Ginger which is also great, too!

I think it's more potent than fennel!

"the healing bite without the sting."
I tried "GingerAid" tea, bought from the grocery store in the organic/health food aisle, and I believe ginger root was about the only thing in the tea. I did NOT care for the taste at all, but I think it was the sting that was getting me. Do you think I might like that one? Is there a big difference between ginger teas? I ask because I've tried several types of peppermint tea, and there doesn't seem to much difference in those. (I like peppermint tea.) I didn't care much for the taste of fennel either, but I tried someone's suggestion of mixing the fennel with peppermint tea, and I can drink it that way. I'm just wondering if I still have a shot at liking ginger. Funny thing is, when I drank carbonated beverages, I used to really like ginger ale. I don't think it had the real ginger in it though.

Lipton makes a "Ginger Twist" and Twining's makes "Lemon and Ginger". I like them both. The Lipton is very mild, the Twining's has more bite, but the lemon cuts it a little. (Ginger root is the second ingredient in the list in the Lipton, the first ingredient in the Twining's.)
