I have just been put on and it seems to work but the side effects yuck!!! can anyone tell me about it at all? I also have a wheat allergy so it makes life really rough

If you do a search on here, there are TONS of articles on it. Just type in Zelnorm under "search" I have been on it now for a month, 6mg twice per day and it is making me go a few times per day, in addition to my miralax. The only side effects I have are diarreha from it. I was hoping that would end by now, but at least its working. Maybe I should cut back on the dosage, or cut back on the Miralax, I can't see the doctor until Aug.! What kind of side effects are you having? How much do you take per day?

I take 6mg twice a day as well. I felt sick but now that subsided and now it is just diarhea.It is hard to go anywhere sometimes because of having to go to the bathroom alot but it is better than not going at all.

I hear ya...I wish I could get it to bulk up more though. I usually go about 3 or 4 times in the morning and then sometimes after dinner. Mostly in the morning though. How long have you been on it now?
