Has anyone tried the new chocolate Citrucel fiber shake? I saw an ad for it in Prevention magazine. Sounds like it may taste better than the old orange goo.

I would stay clear of it.... due to sweeteners and there is dairy as well... sorry..sounded too good to be true.

Ingredients
Active Ingredients:

I presume that aspartame is not a safe sweetener then. Are any of the sweeteners safe?
In a world where sugar has been replaced by sweeteners it makes life even more difficult. e.g. Have recently been getting fed up with plain water so have bought some squash/cordials to dilute but guess what, they have got aspartame and saccharin in.
Any suggestions?

some people use stevia I think -- and I think some use splenda in small amounts -- but people have had troubles with both. Sugar is your safest bet if you need to sweeten.

I get the most expensive Lime Cordial Tesco's does and that's safe, if v. acidic! Or use a splash of fruit juice - cranberry is the safest. Or do iced herbal tea.

It's a total bummer. I'm struggling to find painkillers and rehydration drinks without sweeteners atm and it's HARD.
