Congratulations!!!! That is such great news. You will make it to the six month mark and beyond. Just getting to the three month mark is an accomplishment.

I know that feeling as I am working on my 8 month and hope to make it.

Keep up the good work and look forward to hearing you make it to six months.

Thank you for replying! When did you start following the diet? Have you noticed any improvement yet?

I've been following the diet for almost seven months now, so it took four mnths for me to get here. The first few months I followed it 100%--cutting out all the triggers on Heather's list (plus carrageenan and casein--this is when I really started to notice an improvement in my symptoms), eating small meals regularly, using Benefiber as my SFS (I started really low 1/4 tsp once a day, then twice a day after couple of weeks; I don't use it as regularly now), and took Imodium as a preventative. I also got help for my anxiety, which I believe contributed to stomach aches and abdominal cramping. Right now I'm trying to incorporate more IF so that I can have a healthier diet.

Take care!

Thanks for your support, Mitch! I hope I can continue to be stable, but when I do have an attack at least now I know what to do to "bounce back" quickly. Where would we be without "Breaking the Cycle?"

And congratulations on your 8th month! Wow! That's fantastic!
