I am going to have one this afternoon and let you all know how it is. I'm anxious to try the peanut butter cookie one (the one with 6g fat), but I will break it in half and eat it as "dessert" after a very low-fat meal.
I'll let you know!

Hi Shannon,
I'm always looking for ways to make money! haha
You can order the luna bars for super cheap online at amazon.com. Sometimes they send out boxes of the "old" type with more sugar, but they still taste fine. I don't know it amazon has the new flavors yet, but they're super cheap.
Just a thought

I actually found two types of Luna Bars at a Super WalMart (the ones with the grocery store as well as the other sections). I bought a box of the S'Mores. I haven't tried one yet. I hadn't seen them anywhere else. I came across them by accident, just wondering the grocery aisles

If it helps, they're super cheap - $12.99 for a box of 15, with free shipping if you order 2 boxes at a time.

Good, but not a very strong flavor. In a way, reminded me of the Chai one. It *did* taste kind of like a peanut butter cookie, but I'm not such a huge peanut butter fan, so I probably won't be buying it again since it is so high fat (6g) for the whole bar.
Overall, it wasn't bad, though.

I am getting pretty sick of the old Luna flavors and I looked around for the new flavors and could not find them. I want to try iced oatmeal raisin for sure. So at luna.com they have the new flavors for $18.75 a box plus shipping! Which is so high- especially since there is no middle man. I am so cheap I don't want to order from there but yet I want the new flavors! So what should I do? I usually need 2 boxes per month and I usually buy 4 at a time from drugstore.com and they are $16.99 and shipping is free for me.

Hi there - someone I know found them at Trader Joe's for under a dollar each (regular grocery they are around $1.29). Do you have one of those near you? My favorite is sweet dream. almost as good as eating a candy bar!

and I thought it was pretty gross.
it definitly didn't resemble a cookie, and wasn't very peanutbuttery either. I took two bites and stuck it in the fridge. I'll give it another shot later.

If you mean you haven't tried any, even the "old" ones, I like Chocolate Peppermint Stick the best. But if you want to see what pretty much everyone else on the Board thinks, try this thread. You might look at the newer posts first, because some of the flavors mentioned in the older posts have been retired.
Enjoy!

Hi,
New here, been lurking for a while. But thought I could help out Not-Sore-Anymore. I am also from Sherwood Park and I have been buying Luna bars for a while. I get them at Save-on -Foods (the one on baseline road) in the Natural foods section. They usually only carry 3 or 4 kinds and you have to check the expiry dates they are usually on sale about $1.89 per bar.
Hope that helps.
Nice to meet you all.
