Someone posted that they'd tried a tea with this combination so I tried sticking a Rooibos tea-bag into my tea mix and it was great! Rooibos is really good for minimising the taste of Fennel if you hate it btw!

...and the rooibos really disguises the taste of the fennel, that's all.

That was me, Linz. I stumbled across an organic brew of Rooibos and Fennel and now I'm addicted. It's a great simmering liquid, too I've found. I know you're a risotto fan, and I've made more than a few risottos with Rooibos and Fennel as a simmering liquid and they are delicious!!! I also like to use it for the liquid base for cream of rice cereal. I know you enjoy oatmeal at breakfast and I'm sure it would add a uniquely tummy soothing and flavourful dimension with maybe a little cinnamon and fresh fruit, perhaps? If you like compote it pretty good and also with squashes. I've also seen recipes where it's been used as a broth base for blackbean soups, however I have a big problem with them personally.

Rooibos also has anti-spasmodic properties and is an African remedy for colic!!! Put them together and you get a double whammy with the high anti-oxidant levels in Red tea. Wouldn't Rooibos Fennel Rice Pudding be a yummy treat? I think so, i.e. use rooibos fennel tea as part of the liquid base for rice pudding, combined with a little rice or soy milk? Some cinnamon? YUM. A great breakfast too!

Wind, where do you get this combo organic tea (or do you combine it yourself) ?

you or anyone have a good source to buy the above or lots of flavor varieties of rooibos on the net?

i'm trying a fennel liquid w/ dropper, and, even at the highest dosage, i feel like it does nothing for bloat.

The Brand is INTABA TEAS OF AFRICA. I suppose you could steep a bag of fennel and a bag of rooibos together to create the same effect.
