I go to the bathroom like 6 times. Why do you guys think this happens? What's up with the mornings? My accupuncturist told me that in the Chinese tradition this is called "Cock's Crow D," and it is caused by a deep anxiety. That sounds about right to me! I wonder what the physical reason for it is? Does anyone have any information on this?

Well for a start, your tum is empty for a very long time overnight. And then you're relaxed when you're asleep and getting up can be a shock to the system.

That's really interesting because lately I wake up and lie in bed for a really long time, and that's when I have to go so many times... there's something about my body being relaxed in the morning that I think fascilitates me going so many times? It's very very strange indeed! Cuz I don't feel this way usually at all the rest of the day.

As you're D maybe it's BECAUSE you are so physically relaxed? I always found that if I got some SF down me straight away, I did better. If I had my bath/shower and THEN had breakfast, I'd often be a mess.

That's an interesting theory I never thought of before. My body is relaxed but my mind is not!! Am I considered a D if I just have frequent BMs that are sometimes loose?

Yeah, I'd say so. It's not C or normal anyway. When I was bad, I'd be having about 15 BMs a day, but not all of them would be proper D.
