Has anyone had any problems taking things like one a day vitamins(with chromium), chewable vitamin C, flax seed capsules... ect Iam determined to pin point what started this whole mess with IBS, because I have never had any problems ever until now(im 26).I cut down on protein supplements and that seems to make a difference so far. Have a great day!!!!!

Yes, many people have issues with vitamin/mineral supplements (try doing a search on this). PLUS, the chewable ones usually contain artificial sweeteners which are bad, bad, bad.

Too much vitamin C gives me issues as well. Gas and bloating are major problems - as well as some D. I take a one a day vitamin to help get the main vitamins I need - but it isn't fancy and doesn't have huge amounts of anything - especially C.

Or is the gas and bloat not worth the BM you could get from it? I know I've asked about this vitamin C before...guess I just need to try it to see how I fair.

I think Heather has talked about vit C in her FAQ before. You may want to read up on it there. It is one of those vitamins that in large quantities tends to cause tummy troubles. However -- all of us are different and we don't know how something is going to effect us truly - until we try. So - if you want to try --- go for it.

Chewable vitamin C is TERRIBLE for your teeth. It is also known to cause gas/bloating or d.
