I am new here and just trying to figure out what I can and cant eat. Is Crystal Light OK? What about taking Women's Multi-Vitamins?

I forget what kind of artificial sweetner they use in Crystal Light, but I believe it's considered a trigger and thus a no-no.

What can we drink, other than water? Is Gatorade OK? My doc said it is, but we all know that means nothing. What else can we have other than water?

We talked about this earlier this week, so here's a link to that thread. Hope it helps
Often, questions like this reoccur so it helps to do a search first with no date restrcitions.

Sorry - forgot to do a search before I posted. I did a search for Crystal light before and got nothing. Didn't meant to bore anyone with my duplicate question.

No problem.
Actually, it reminded me of another question I've been meaning to ask.
I know that Crystal Light (and other diet/ "light" drinks) are out because of artifical sweeteners. Also, all the "sports drinks" seem to be essentially colored HFCS. So, now that's it's getting hot out, what are good summer-type drinks? I've been absolutely living off (and loving) my hot herbal teas all winter, but what do you all generally drink in the summer? Just water?
Is there any type of drink to buy, maybe at a HFS, that would be cool, refreshing, and still safe? Is there *anything* as far as drinks go that might be safe to buy at a gas station/ convenience store? (Other than water, of course....)

-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I just read your post I know its been awhile since you have posted but I drink Crystal Light all the time. I love it. I don't know what kind of sweenter they use which I don't think its much but it doesn't affect me. Try it once and see what happens. I am glad I can drink it because I get tired of drinking water all the time.
