is it okay to drink from those water sports bottles with the plug you pull up and the liquid comes out of the hole of the cap?
Do you know what I'm talking about?
Or does this also increase air swallowing and thus gas and bloat?

I use them, but to be honest, anything other than sipping from a glass/mug is going to have more of a risk of swallowing air.

I think I might have mentioned this before, but because of another medical condition, I can't tip my head back enough to drink out of a cup, so I've been using straws for absolutely *everything* I drink.
I saw once someone refer to a specially shaped cup that you can drink out of without tripping back, and thus eliminate the need for straws. I can't find where I read this, has anyone heard of/ seen this?

I use them all the time with no problems, I drink way more water if I drink from them rather than a glass...mu mind works in funny ways!
