wanted- a good safe, nutritous way to start a vegan diet. Breads are becoming too heavy for me and so I often don't eat enough to be satisfied(besides, I am tired of so much bread). PROTEINS ARE too iffy, ie; chicken and fish and even organic chicken isn't always good and too expensive. I need more protien though, how can I go began safely. anyone with some good recipes to start off with?

i was browsing the web last night and i came across this site: info on vegan diets it has a bunch of links on the vegan diet including nutritional info and recipes. under the link for "vegetarian starter kit" you'll find a link called tips for making the switch to a vegetarian diet the vegetarian diet is perfect for IBSers, so making the switch should be easy. i wish you luck!

I was just reading through the vegan diet page, sounds good, I was just wondering where the breads would fit in since I usually have some with each meal. It is more filling than other fibre foods. also, I cant handle many cereals, so that could pose a problem as well. :
