Worse at night

Does anyone have any explanation for why the pain I'm experiencing gets MUCH worse during the night after I've been in bed for a couple of hours? Judy

Hmm...well your entire system slows down at night and you also don't keep putting SF in your tum. What kind of pain is it and where is it?

My IBS symptoms are always worse at night, too! It's not even after I've gone to bed (although that also exacerbates it), it's just like after about 8 pm things that would have been fine earlier start to bother my tummy. I really have no explanation for it, except maybe that everything we've eaten for the day builds up and finally bothers us. Also, my mother (also an IBSer) is convinced that lying down does something to our tummies. Maybe it's something about the positions we get into or something. Just a thought. Either way, all I can recommend is watching what you eat in the evenings and taking a SFS before bed.

It could be connected to what you ate for dinner, or earlier in the day.
