Yes, I did already start my son on the Flora-Q. I will eliminate it for a few days and see what happens. I have to remember that the doc is only giving suggestions and this is all trial and error. And you were right.. I found out he had about 1/2 glass of 7-Up at a school party. I had doubts that such a small amount would cause such a violent reaction, but it wouldn't surprise me. As for giving him the Immodium, I didn't think far ahead enough. I guess I just wanted to get him some relief as quickly as possible. Anyway, he is feeling much better and we will consider this a learning experience. I am so grateful to the all the info and support available in these boards. As you all know, family and friends aren't always as supportive as we'd like.
