Colpermin v Heathers Peppermint Capsules

Can anyone tell me what difference there is between these two peppermint capsules? Those of you on Heathers Peppermint caps can you tell me which symptoms in particular you are taking them for and how effective they are.

Heather's capsules also contain ginger and fennel.

I know that Heather's peppermint tabs include ginger and fennell but I want to know whether the Colpermin would be as good as Heathers - I could get Colpermin prescribed. However, I am trying to work out whether they would be a further help to my condition - I am ibs.d and am taking Acacia, acidopholus and following Heather's diet as much as possible. I still have a lot of gas (but mostly painless since taking the Acacia) and I also still go to the loo too much!! Any info would be appreciated.

Well no, the Colpermin would not be as good as Heather's if for no other reason than Heather's also contains the helpful fennel and ginger. However, getting Colpermin on prescription and trying that would give you an idea of whether peppermint caps work for you...if they did, then you might want to try Heather's and see if they're better, if it doesn't then you'll save shipping stuff from the States!
