Since we all know our emotions play a huge role in triggering IBS attacks, I thought I'd pass on the title of this really great book I'm reading.. It's called "Boundries, When To Say Yes, When To Say No To Take Control Of Your Life" by Dr. Henry Cloud. It's really been an eye opener for me! I will say it does reference the Bible, but I *really* think Non-Christians can get a LOT out of the practical advice in this book too..Check it out at the library or book store if you can..Hope it's OK to mention something like this, but like I said, our emotions, when internalized can wreak havoc, and this book is totally AWESOME at pointing out what we are REALLY responsible for in this life, and more importantly, what we are NOT responsible for, so when we know these "boundries" we can live more peaceful lives..

I think you'll be amazed at what you learn. Our healthy boundries can get violated as a child or young adult in SO many ways, physically, emotionally, sexually, mentally, that often we do not realize we are even supposed to HAVE any. People like this need to be taught or told that they DO matter, and we are not required TO do or NOT do things to avoid dissapointing people or losing relationships..It applies to and covers every sort of relationship you can imagine! parent-child, child -parent, spousal, work, friends, everything! So it teaches you how to have fences to keep the bad stuff out of your spirit and gates to let the good stuff in! Enjoy..
