Can anyone tell me what the UK equivalent is for Corn Syrup? Is it Golden Syrup?

Well corn syrup isn't a problem, it's the HIGH-FRUCTOSE corn syrup that's a trigger. We don't really have it over here...it's used in alot of US products instead of sugar b/c it's cheaper over there (freaky subsidies or something).
Golden syrup should be absolutely fine, btw.

Linz, that was soo helpful, becasue I was totally frustrated in the store yesterday because I could not find anything that I liked that didn't contain corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup, but now I know, the corn syrup is okay...I think I can eat my pop tarts now
