I buy the Rooibos Chai Latte mix (it's safe) and you're supposed to add 1/2 cup mix + 1/2 cup milk, but I add only about 1/8 cup mix + 7/8 cup plain lite soymilk. It's fantastic! I even put fennel seeds in a strainer and stick it in there to seep because the Rooibos & soymilk taste covers up the fennel!

Rooibos tea, it is so good! I just researched that on the search today. Thanks for the extra thoughts about it's benefits.

If you haven't ordered from there, I found a better price at www.culinaryteas.com. They had the RR for 8 oz for $9, where at the other place it would have been $20 for 8 oz!

This stuff works so good at hiding that nasty fennel taste - I love it!!

Let me know if you try it.

No, Melissa, not yet. I've looked at a couple of places around here, but no one carries it. I know it was sort of a long shot. So, thanks a lot for thinking of me with the new ordering info - it was just in time, I had pretty much decided to go ahead and order some after the weekend.

As long as we're on the subject, I found another tea I like - just to drink, not to hide fennel in. It's Honeybush tea and seems to be similar to (related to?) Redbush (Rooibos). Like Redbush it tastes a lot like tea, but whereas I think Redbush tastes like English Breakfast Tea, Honeybush tastes more like "just tea" - Lipton or some other pekoe. It makes a really nice iced tea, too. I bought Ombili brand at Whole Foods - just plain Honeybush, not their spiced version.

Thanks, again. I'll order some RR next week and let you know when I've tried it. I'm really looking forward to it - Amaretto, yum!

I've had Vanilla Honeybush. Yummy! But, not the same as Rooibos...it's my weakness! LOL I got a sample size of Hawaiin Colada Rooibos from the Culinary Teas along with the RR. Tried it this morning - YUM!! I tried it plain first...may try it with fennel to see how it is. Anything to get more fennel in and not taste it is fine with me! LOL But the HC is good - it's got pineapple bits in it! Pretty neat!

It's wonderful - it does taste like Amaretto - or those little cookies. Yum!

I also tried the Earl Grey Rooiboos from the same place (Culinary Teas). It's good, too - I prefer it brewed not quite as strong as they recommend.
Their Florida Orange Rooiboos I can take or leave. (I love their little sampler sizes - I feel like I can try different teas without ending up with a cabinet full of rejects.)

The Rainbow Rooiboos is definitely my favorite. Thanks for recommending it.
