It seems I am finding new triggers every week!

Eating too much is a major one!
Dairy, Mayonaise in small amounts doesn't bother me that bad
Fast Food, even grilled chicken Sandwiches
High Fat Foods are murder!
Soy Smoothies
Yellow Rice
Dark Meat Poultry
Salami, Bologna
Coffee
And my infamous Menstrual Cycle (Does anyone have any advice how to ease this time)

It seems The list just keeps growing. I'll be glad when i get this thing under complete control. I miss Ice Cream desperately!

I know many of us have a harder time with our IBS when we get our periods! I used to be on the pill and would "piggy back" my pills so I would only have a couple of periods a year. If you take the pill ask your dr about this!

I KNOW stress is probbaly my biggest trigger!
Clothes that are too tight!
Not exercising enough
Heat/humidity
Eating too much
Getting to hungry
high fat foods
Loud environments
Hormones!!
Anxiety
Lack of sleep

Those are the big ones I can think of right now. My IBS seems to have a mind of its own and gets upset a lot of no apparent reason!!

I will, I am currently on the Patch and it has helped cramping. But alot of times, I feel terrible during my cycle, I actually have to take at least 2 advil because my legs and feet swell during that time.

This will probably be quite repetitive at this point but here goes (pretty much in order of severity):

Foods...
Dairy (anything and everything, even teeny tiny amounts)
Anything greasy or high fat (red meat, fats, egg yolks etc.)
IF (especially raw veggies (can't touch em), and less so in whole grains)
Alcohol (only takes a few sips)
Onions, peppers, corn, broccoli, tomatoes - even cooked - as well as any citrus fruits
Artificial sweeteners, HFCS
Cold water or other drinks (anything I drink is pretty much always lukewarm, heh) - or really chugging any liquids at all
Anything carbonated
Caffeine (don't drink coffee but decaf regular tea is usually ok for me)

Lifestyle...
Not eating often enough
Eating too much at one sitting
Lack of sleep
Stress
Not getting enough exercise
First few days of my period (always get D, no matter what)

Here are mine: (Casey, I copied your format a bit since our triggers are so similar)

Milk, most dairy products
Anything even remotely high in fat, oily, greasy
Caffeine, esp. coffee
Peanut butter, almond butter, soynut butter
Tortilla and all fried chips
MSG
Alcohol
Whole grain bread
Jam that is not seedless
Pie (the crust is evil)
Coconut
RAW VEGGIES...evil...

Non food triggers:

Stress
Not getting enough sleep
Other physical illness (colds, flu, etc)
Menstruation
Emotions (anger, etc.)
Anything with aspertame

** See Beth, I have LOTS of triggers! **

I haven't discovered if it's the fake sugars yet.... but all of those otherwise, and it's so true that on an empty tummy a SF is the key. Whoa, I had a waffle with an itty bitty bit of Becel(the HEALTHY margarine) and I instantly cramped up. Of course, i had a barium swallow too, today, but this was immediate.

I'm trying drinking my water from a straw because I get fewer air bubbles that way. i also never drink my tea too hot to avoid slurping. I have a real complex about gas- lucky that I have IBS, eh?

Tina's list reminded me of a few...

Alcohol
Any cold or allergy medicine EXCEPT Benadryl
Any painkiller EXCEPT Tylenol
Yep, menstruation... gotta love hormones...
I only mentioned stress, but any extremely negative emotion (upset, anger, anxiety, etc) will trigger me.

I'm lucky that I can handle just about any vegetable cooked and an increasing number raw. But I still can't do green peppers, no matter how well cooked, and this isn't IBS-related per se, but I can't eat oregano (it repeats on me for a week... no joke!).
