I know that quinoa is considered a SF option which is great since I am GF, plus the quinoa has 3 grams fiber per serving!

When people eat this product, do you guys eat the flake form or the tiny ball kind? Are both forms IBS safe?

Thanks

but it was quite good i thought!! My roomie and I made like a pilaf with it, and it was the kind that looks like little balls. I don't understand what the flake kind is, sorry. I think you could probably use it as a substitute for anything that calls for couscous or even rice maybe. I would suggest maybe cooking it in a veggie or chicken broth for flavor? I have also baked a bread with the flour and it was terrible , so I would avoid straight quinoa flour (in a mix I think it's ok) You know what Beth, maybe I will try to make some this week because I think there's some in the kitchen and I will let you know how it goes. Good luck, hon, I hope this helps!

I have had the flake kind and the pellet kind and both are fine for me! I must say that when I boiled the pellet kind, it turned into the flakey kind. As you boil it to release the germ, so not sure if the flaked kind is actually the pellet form in another guise!!! Not sure about that though....It does taste a bit more cardboardy than say, oats, but I guess its ok....worth a try....
