Is there a chewing gum out there without any artificial sweeteners? I recently discovered the Wrigley's brands (regular Juicy Fruit, Big Red, etc.) which I assumed had only sugar, contain aspartame and acesulfame K!!!

Fruit Stripes, and Bubble Yum cotton candy flavor... and I think the Bubble Yum is the only one I found that also didn't contain HFCS.
Linz is right, by the way - gum isn't recommended for IBS'ers because it does force air into the digestive tract. That said, I can get away with it now and then, when I'm feeling good and stable.

I can't because of TMJ. Even certain foods that I eat often should be avoided like licorice or raw baby carrots.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

bazooka... bubble yum had hfcs or artificials, BUT I find I get terrible gas from chewing gum. I do keep some on hand (DH likes it so it doesn't stay long anyway) for when I get fluid in my ears so I can chew it to relieve the pressure.. but otherwise I don't bother.
