Oooooh 14g? Wow that's high.

I must confess, I haven't had them in years - I've been allergic to milk my whole life so I've always had soy and rice milk subsitutes, but I've only had IBS for about 2 years, and I probably haven't had one of those bars since then. I certainly wouldn't be able to tolerate the 14g of fat.

Sorry to get your hopes up! Damn that's too bad... those things are so good...

I don't know. To me, the rice dream just has the texture of thin ice milk-not ice cream. I don't care for it much at all. I'm hoping I can tolerate something with soy.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I just tried Soy Delicious Purely Decadent in Chocolate Obsession. Let me just tell you, this is the best fake ice cream ever. I am a chocolate ice cream fanatic and this stuff is great. I don't think people would be able to tell the difference between this and the real stuff. Of course, look out for the relatively high fat content -- 9 grams per 1/2 cup -- but it is dairy free and very good. After a good SF meal, a small portion should be safe for most people. So yummy. I can't wait to try that peanut butter one!

At first, when I tried Soy Delicious PB Zig Zag, I thought it was too good to be true! Even my friends who can eat dairy, prefer Soy Delicious to some of the "real" ice cream products. You're right: you can't eat too much at one time and it makes a good dessert. I'm glad you liked it!

Oh I will have to try that one Panda! I love anything chocolate.

Maria I love the peanut butter zig zag! At a nearby dollar store they sell it for $1.00 a pint!!! In the regular store I pay almost 4 bucks. At first I thought something would be wrong with it but it tasted just fine. When I went back they were running a sale for 2 for $1.00! Let's just say my freezer is very full of this tasty flavor!!!

What?! A $1.00 a pint! That's awesome! I usually wait until they're on sale or pay the four bucks for them. I actually haven't had it for a while because I tried cutting out food with carageenan, which did help with gas and cramps. But I recently bought some Soy Dream and if I have it in smaller portions I'm fine. Everything in moderation I guess. I think I was just overdoing with all the dairy alternatives (cheese, milk, ice cream) that contained carageenan.

I paid $3.69 for one container, plus lovely NYC tax (over 8%). I don't mind though, if it tastes that good! I also ordered some soy mozzeralla and soy blue cheese, so we'll see how those taste!
