Just noticed-that recipe calls for 1/3 cup of oil. Wouldn't that make them worse for you than the "No-pudge" brownies, which don't call for oil, only applesauce?

Thanks a bunch! They actually carry the Soy Delicious in my local store! I was just never looking for it. I'll give that a try!

You do that too? I thought it was my invention..I dip them into the chocolate flavour one and devour it. Haven't done it in a while though as need to fit into a dress for April 30th, onthe right track though... COCO pops AND Choc soy milk? I use normal Rice Krispies with them but is the Coco Pops crazy heavy?

I have heard that the vanilla carob ones are super good, but when I saw them at Whole Foods, I noticed that they have like 14 grams of fat per bar!! That seemed like way too much fat, so I was too scared to buy them But they don't bother you? They sound delicious and I am supposed to gain weight, so the extra fat would be good if I could tolerate them...Thanks!

...tha really count with IBS...25% or less for each dish/meal. So the amount of oil in ADBs is fine as it's a low percentage. PLUS, you mustn't cut fats out COMPLETELY! A little healthy fats are needed for health reasons.

...in this diet. That's 25% or less of the calories to come from fat. And fat is 9calories per gram (I think ).
Personally I can tolerate higher, but that's just me.

Fries do not seem to bother me, either. Neither does Popeye's fried chicken or venison, a red meat. I theorize the venison doesn't bother me because it's so lean. Why Popeye's doesn't bother me much, I really don't understand, but I'm not going to argue!

...(like me) have a higher tolerance to fat than "normal" IBSers. But don't push it and be very careful to check for other triggers. Also, it helps you to stabilise faster if you do cut out the higher fat foods as they're pretty hard on your GI system even if they're not a particular trigger of yours.
