Hey everyone...
I was wondering. The other day, I had to explain to my godmother why I couldn't eat some of the food she'd ordered at a restaurant, and it turns out she has IBS too. (Convenient!) But - she claims that eating goat's milk yogurt and taking grapeseed oil caplets completely "cured" her IBS-D 20 years ago and it's only flared up once when she ate a particularly large amount of red meat/cauliflower. Now, I'm a bit skeptical, but I thought I'd ask if any of you have ever heard about using either the yogurt or the grapeseed oil to treat IBS.
Thanks for any info!
Emily

Well, obviously your grandmother didn't have that bad a csae of IBS (lucky her!) so keep that in mind.

The yogurt thing will be the probiotics which you can take WITHOUT the trigger-y dairy. This is a great thing to do...so thank your Gran for the idea (they love being right in my experience! ).

Not so sure on the grapeseed oil...sorry!
