I had Amy's Macaroni and Soy Cheeze today for lunch...i ended up getting tummy sick....i realized later it has milk protein...and it was 23% fat i believe could that really get our tummys that sick??!!?!?!?

Some people are sensitive to the milk proteins. Some people (I'm one of them!) are VERY sensitive to fat. That could easily have bothered you.

I haven't found any packaged "macaroni and cheese" products that are safe, unfortunately.

Thank you..that's what i was guessing...but since i have this website i can check out...i figured i would ask. i'm not sure which one irritated me...or maybe it was both....i'm not planning to take chances...so i'll stay away from both!!!

I'm so glad you posted about this! On Monday I had an attack--about an hour after eating Amy's Mac & Cheeze. I did a search, found your post, and then went through my food journal. Guess what? The few attacks I've had in the past six months (I've been somewhat stable) have been after I've eaten the Mac & Cheeze. I don't know if it's the milk protein, but no more for me. Weep.

oh my you poor person. Yes, that can really make you that sick, especially if you have problems with lactose. What a nasty thing not to put on the lable in clearer terms. Sorry you had to find out the hard way. Hope you feel better soon.
