Allergies versus triggers question..

I was wondering if anyone had ever had their allergies identified and knew if you could still test positive for an allergy to things that were not triggers, and vice versa as far as wheat being an allergy but not a trigger also. Hope this makes sense.

people can have both allergies and triggers.. in my case my biggest allergy is also a known trigger.. but Beef is not an allergy for all it actually makes my stomach worse then dairy does.. dairy also causes hives, etc.. and will eventually cause anaphalactic shock due to it being an allergy!

...and are therefore separate from the IBS triggers! You can have IBS and also be allergic to wheat....that's why some people here are on a GF diet....it's because they're intolerant of gluten AS WELL AS having IBS.
