I just read a post in the living room about Imodium Advanced. They are the chewable tablets instead of the regular PO tablets. I did do a search on this and I don't think that it has come up before.
The Imodium Advanced chewables has SORBITOL in it. Why they would put a nasty trigger in a med that is supposed to help is beyond me. I actually have some here at home that my husband had bought not knowing. I will not take them because of the sorbitol and wanted to pass on the info for those of you who may use this form of imodium (which in regualr pill form is a lifesaver!)
So, throw out those chewables!!

I recently bought a generic brand that is comparable to Immodium A-D. The first ingredient is LACTOSE! This is under Inactive ingredients. I am going to throw them out and go back for name brand.
